绘本二级What is it? 教学设计

         

本节课的阅读绘本属于fiction, 情节突出,有明显起因、经过、结果。 阅读材料讲述了外星人Bip 和Bop 看见一盏台灯,然后进行了一系列的猜测:“它是什么”,最后当台灯亮起来时外星人被吓跑的故事。这样科幻的内容,足以吸引孩子们的注意,从而有效激发其阅读兴趣,伴随阅读的逐渐深入,会促进学生的阅读兴趣转化为探究、思考和表达观点的动力。

绘本内容比较简单,语言结构清晰,为学生们的表达提供支撑。 故事情节中反复出现What is it? Is it a...? It’s a ...以及No, it is too... 恰当的语言呈现,给学生体验语用功能提供了机会,也为学生运用语言谈论自己的想法奠定了基础。

    二年级学生已经学习了一年的英语,能够用简单的英语句子进行问答,交流。这个年龄段的学生活泼可爱,敢说,敢说,敢想,敢做,求知欲较强,但同时他们的稳定性较差,注意力不能长时间集中,那么再设计本节课时结合学生年龄特点和心理特点,创设真实、有趣的语言学习环境,通过游戏,竞赛和体验激发学生的学习兴趣,调动学生的积极性,培养他们的语言综合运用能力。

教学目标:

1. 会读单词  seat  tunnel  alien  wide lamp

2. 能够听懂会说句子 What is it? Is it…? No, it’s too…

3. 能够掌握字母i 的发音以及单词;

4. 能够读懂故事内容;

5. 能够自主阅读故事文本,并向他人简单介绍故事片段;

6. 通过学习故事培养学生的兴趣和自信心,通过故事学习让学生       

学会尊重他人,尊重差异。

教学重难点

1.     掌握所学的单词和句子,能够读懂故事;

2.     能够掌握字母i 的发音以及单词;能够简单复述故事片段。

一、     教学步骤

Step I. Pre-Reading

Play a guessing game. (Ask the students look at the pictures and

try to guess : What is it? Is it a …?(出示hat ,circle让学生进行猜测,引入故事人物外星人 alien。在这部分猜图游戏激发学生的学习兴趣,培养学生的想象力。)

Step II. While-Reading

Lead- in  Introduce the two aliens’ name Bip and Bop teach the

pronunciation of  letter “i”, and the words of letter “i”.(自然拼读的渗透培养学生的音素意识以及拼读能力。)Ask the students look at the cover and answer the questions:

Can you find the name of the story?

What can else you see?(writer, illustrator…)

T: The aliens come to the earth, think about what do they see.

  After the students guess what do the aliens see, let them look at the

pictures, and check their answer. Then teach the word lamp.

1.     Ask the students look at the pictures, what do the aliens think about the lamp by using : Is it a …?

First , Bip put it on, what is it? Is it a hat? Why?

Ss: No, it is big.

T: We usually put the hat on our head, but look at Bip, he put it on his shoulders, because it is too big.

Then let the students try the lamp shade.

2.Use the same to teach the other pictures. (dress, seat, tunnel)

When teach the students the aliens think it is not a seat, let then find the reason and teach them wide. (compare “i” and “i-e”)

3.Open the books and listen to the story.

Step III. Post-Reading.

1.Work in pairs read the story , find their favourite page to read.

2.Find out :How many things do the aliens think about the lamps?

3.Look at pictures on the board and use the main sentence to describe it.

Homework

 1. Listen to the story and read the story.

2. Retell the story.
