Unit6 Happy birthday!(第一课时)
一、教材分析
这是pep小学三年级英语上册第六单元,教材以Birthday为课题,意在让学生学习掌握one ---ten的十个数字及相关句型How many...?  How old are you ? I’m ... years old. 所以教学重点其实为Numbers,即one two three four five six seven eight nine ten .
本单元共分六课时,第一课时为Let’s talk,由于涉及到第二课时内容,所以把Let’s learn调整为第一课时。又根据学情进行教学内容的调整、补充,即:1、把第四课时和本课时单词进行整合后的教学内容为:zero one two three four five six seven eight nine ten 2、句型 1. How many...?  2. ____and ____is _____.(补充内容)
二、学情分析
学生已有两年的在校学习英语的基础,对 How old are you? I’m      years old .比较熟悉,能够听懂并作答。部分学生甚至能达到熟练运用的程度。但也有少数同学没有掌握此句型。 学生学习能力、学习习惯和原有知识水平存在较大差异,英语综合素养参差不齐。
三、教学目标
知识目标:
1、能够听懂How old are you? 并作答。
2、能够听懂并回答How many...? 
3、能够听、说、认读单词zero one two three four five six seven eight nine ten 。
能力目标:
1、能够在图片、实物和老师的帮助下运用How many...?询问物品的数量并作回答。
2、能够在实际情景中运用句型 How old are you ? I’m ... years old.询问年龄并作答。
情感目标:
了解中西方文化中谈论年龄的差异。
四、教学重、难点
教学重点:
1、句型:How many...?  How old are you ? I’m ... years old。
2、单词one two three four five six seven eight nine ten 。
教学难点:
1、字母V的读音。
2、句型How many...? 的运用。
五、教具:
PPT、  实物、  zero--ten 的单词卡片 。
六、教学过程
Step1.Warm  up
T:Good morning, boys and girls!
Ss: Good morning, Miss Li!
T:Nice to see you again.
Ss: Nice to see you, too.
T:Now Let's listen to a new song, Ten Little Candles.
(play the song)
设计意图:以歌曲开头,营造英语氛围,激发兴趣,导入新课。
Step2.New Presentation
1.Show number cards one by one, from one to ten .
T:How many?(Maybe a few students can say "one" correctly, so teacher must praise him or her. And say:" can you say it again , please? )
Ss: One.
T:How to spell ONE?
Ss: O-N-E One.
T:Very well!(put the number card one on the blackboard)
T:(show one book)I have one book. What do you have?
S1:(show a pencil) I have one pencil.
S2:I have one bag.
S3:I have one ruler.
T:Nice work!
Then teach the other numbers in the same way.
In this step, some students may make mistakes of the letter V, so teacher must pay attention
and give the right pronunciation.
T:(Put up some books ) How many books in my hand ?
Ss: One, two ,three, Three books.
T:(take three pens in one hand and two pens in the other hand)How many pens in my right hand?
Ss: Three.
T:How many pens in my left hand?
Ss: Two.
T:Good children!(put the pens together) Look, how many pens now?
Ss: Five.
T: Yes. Three and two is five. What is one and six?(help Ss )
Ss: One and six is seven.
3.Show a birthday cake by ppt.
T:Today is Sam's birthday, this birthday cake is for him. How old is he?
Ss: He is six.
T:You are great! yes , he is six years old.
How old are you,S1?
S1:I'm eight years old.
T: How old are you,S2?
S2: I'm eight, too.
T:(show a picture on page 62)Look at this picture ,Who is he?
S4:He is Tom.
T: How old is he?
S5:He is 7 years old.

设计意图:利用单词卡直观呈现数字,并通过课件教授句型,让学生了解到数字在实际生活中的应用以及如何运用。
Step3. Drills and Practice

Give the equations, let students say them in English .

4+4=8   (Four and four is eight.)
6+3=9  ( Six and three is nine.)
2+5=7   (Two and five is seven.)
Exchange telephone numbers
T:Do you want my telephone number ?
Ss: Sure. What's it?
T:One-three-three
  Three-zero-nine-eight
  Two-one-six-five.
Can you remember?
Ss: Yes, remember.
T: Can you give me your number?
Let some volunteers to say their numbers.
设计意图:通过由浅入深、由简单数字到复杂句型的练习,使优等生不仅掌握了基础知识,也学会了数字在实际生活中的应用,得到了提升和拓展。学困生可以扎实掌握基础单词和句型,也可以通过倾听优等生对问题的回答,了解数字在实际生活中的其他运用。
Step4.Summary
Numbers are important and useful in our life,  you must master them . And you must remember that age is a secret in west countries.
