一、本单元设计理念.

二、设计思路：
新课程改革下的英语教学倡导“任务型”模式，因此我们要体现出以人为本，以应用为动力、以使用为目的、以运用为核心的教学途径，提供给学生更大的实践空间，更好的发挥出学生的主观性、创造性和积极性。
三、教学内容分析：
本单元是八年级上第七单元，以谈论制作一种食物的过程为中心话题，此中心话题的谈论是学生比较感兴趣的内容，学生有学习的积极性。主要语言结构为：祈使句的运用;可数名词和不可数名词; How many /How much引导的特殊疑问句。
整个单元分为Section A 和Section B. Section A 提供了本单元教学的基本词汇和语言结构，并通过简单的语言活动进行操练和巩固。Section B 是学生在掌握了Section A的基础知识后的拓展和延伸，安排的任务难度在逐级递升，同时从口头训练转向阅读与笔头训练。
1. Section A 1a – 3c
这一课时首先向学生介绍了谈论本单元的话题需要的一些基本词汇和语言结构，并通过两人问答、听力练习，小组活动等对新词汇和语言结构进行基本的操练。
2. Section A 4 Recipe game.复原菜谱的游戏。
3. Section B 1a — selfcheck2 进一步谈论制作食物的过程，练习可数名词与不可数名词及动词词组和first ,next, then, finally等，并从口头训练转向阅读与笔头训练。
四、教学目标：
（一）、知识目标 ：让学生掌握一定的语言基本知识和基本技能，建立初步的语感，获得初步运用英语的能力，为真实交际打下基础是我们英语教学大纲规定的教学目的之一。
1.掌握有关新单词：yogurt, milk shake, watermelon, ingredient, sauce, popcorn, blender, teaspoon, relish, sandwich, lettuce, turkey, bread, recipe, first, then ,finally等.
2.熟练运用turn on, cut up, pour , peel 等动词词组。
3.熟练运用祈使句和How many / How much 引导的问句。
4.注意可数名词与不可数名词的用法。
（二）、能力目标：
1．能正确认识可数名词和不可数名词及其量的表达方式。
2.能运用可数名词与不可数名词，正确谈论人们的日常饮食制作过程，并能依据指示语做事情。
（三）、情感目标：
1.培养学生与人交往中具有的积极态度，了解西方在谈论可数不可数名词时的不同方式。
2. 激发学生学习英语的兴趣，通过小组对话、讨论、制作和设计等一系列的课内外活动，培养学生寻求帮助，乐于与他人合作的精神及爱生活，爱家庭和爱做家务的感情。
五、教学对象分析：
我们教学的对象是初二学生，他们已接触了较多与日常生活相关的词汇和用语，能用简单的英语表达个人的意见。他们在学习英语的过程中希望能得到他人更多的肯定。因此我们在教学活动中尽量让他们参与到活动中来，有更多的机会来说英语，在做事情的过程中英语的自然流露来减少他们的恐惧感，通过学生间的合作学习和做中学，降低他们的学习难度，使他们体验到成功的喜悦。同时在阅读和书面表达中加以落实，提高他们综合运用语言的能力，使各层次的学生都有所收获。
六、本单元的重点与难点:
本单元的教学重点为谈论食物的制作过程及所涉及到的祈使句、how many/how much等的用法。
教学难点为对peel , cut up, pour等动词和可数不可数名词的理解与使用。
七、主要 教学策略：
（1）本单元的话题源自生活，立足这一点，教师应充分利用学生已有的知识和生活经验，创设生活化的真实情境（或半真实情境）引导学生在 运用语言中学习语言，然后在学习新的语言知识后创造性地运用语言（为用而学， 在用中学,学了就用）。
（2）开展任务型活动，提供给学生合作交流的空间和时间，促使学生为完成任务和同学进行合作，为完成任务进行探究性学习。
（3）通过合作学习，启发学生的思维，培养学生的合作精神
八、课时安排：
结合本单元这部分的教学内容及基于对教材的分析，我对本单元的内容进行如下处理，目的是突出重点，使课堂节奏紧凑，衔贯。本单元分为四课时，
Period1: Section A 1a -2c
Period2: Section A3a -4
Period 3:Section B 1a – 3c
Period 4: Section B 4 - Self Check .
十、。教学流程：
Period one
Step 1.Warming-up
Get the students to enjoy a piece of flash show.
Step 2.Revision
Show a picture and revise the names of some fruits and practice “how many…?”
Step 3.Presentation
Show the picture and teach “yogurt” and “how much”.
Step 4.Practice
Work in pairs and practice “ How many…can you see?”
Step 5.Presentation
1. Show the picture and teach “milk shake”.
2. Show three kinds of milk shake and teach ‘ ingredient’
3. T.: Do you like milk shake ? Let’s make it . And we need a “blender”.(Teach the word.)
4. Show the picture and say : “Follow me!” “ Peel …” “ Cut up…”and so on.
Step 6. Practice
1. “Let’s say and act.” Get the Ss to say the words and act them out .
2. Ss’ book A1a Write down the words.
3. Ss’ book A1b Listen and number.
Step 7. Learn to do
1. Get the Ss to say how to make banana milk shake and teach the words: first , next , then , finally .
2. Group work : Discuss how to make banana milk shake or strawberry milk shake and then give a report.
3. Fill in the blanks about how to make lemonade.
Step 8.Presentation
Show the picture and say: We are going to talk about fruit salad. Do you like it ? To make fruit salad, what do we need ?
Teach “ bowl” and “ teaspoon”.
Step 9.Listening practice
Discuss with the teacher “ What ingredients do we need ?” and “how many or how much”, then have a listening practice of 2a. and then 2b.
Step.10 Discussion
Work in pairs and talk about “How many or how much … do we need?” using the dialogue in 2c. and make their own chart. Then give a report.
Step. 11. Homework
- 写下制作自己喜欢的奶昔的过程．
- 跟父母学做菜，并把自己做的菜拍成照片带到学校在课堂上交流做法，利用字典查出相关词汇．
- 小组准备好做水果沙拉的材料并带到学校．
Period Two
Step 1.Warming- up
Play guessing games.
1. Act and guess the verbs.
2. Draw and guess what it is.
Step 2. Revision
Get the Ss to say how to make banana milk shake.
Step 3. Pair work
Show pictures and teach: popcorn, popper, salt. Then get them look at the pictures in 3b to talk about how to make popcorn.
Step 4.Listen and do.
1. Get the Ss to show and say the ingredients the prepared for the fruit salad.
2. Listen to the teacher and make the fruit salad.
3. Fill in the blanks in 3a.
Step 5.Super cook
Get the Ss to show the photos and then work in pairs to talk about how to make it.
Step 6. Interview.
Get some Ss to show their photo in front of class and the others ask questions about it.
Step 7. Recipe game
Teach the words and then get the Ss to do as told and play the game.
Step 8. Homework
Design a special.
Period Three
Step 1. Warming-up
Read the tongue twist.
Step 2.Revision
Revise the words learned. (Memory Challenge.)
Step 3.Presentation
T: Let’s go to KFC today. Do you like hamburgers?...Present the words:
Sandwich, turkey… and “ Do you like…”
Step 4.Practice
1. Write down they things they like in B1a.
2. Ask and answer in pairs.
Step 5.Reading
1. Read and fill in the form.
2. Have a competition : Ask and answer questions according to the passage.( How many / much … do we need?)
Step 6. Practice
1. Fill in the blanks in 3b.
2. Listening practice: a. Listen and circle2a. b. Listen (reading) and fill in the chart 2b. c. Listen and fill in the chart.
3. Pair work: Practice the dialogue.
Step 7. Writing
In groups, write a recipe about how to make a turkey sandwich according to the dialogue.
Step 8. Homework
Design a special sandwich.
Period 4
Step 1.Crazy sandwich
A S reads the things on P83/84, the other draws the tings on the bread.
Step 2.Pair work
Work in pairs and talk about how to make the crazy sandwich.
Step 3.Make a survey
Get the Ss to work in groups and ask : Which kind of sandwich do you like best? Then give a report.
Step 4.Presentation
Show the picture of Beijing duck and talk about “What do we need to make Beijing duck?”
Step 5.Discussion and writing.
1. Look at the pictures and discuss how to make Beijing duck and write down.
2. Fill in the blanks.
Step 6 Group work.
Design the dish for the Olympic Game in 2008 in Beijing. Then give a report.
Step 7. Guess
Something about the food.
Step 8. Homework
1．Write a letter to the mayor of Beijing and talk about the dish your group design.
